Press Conference of the 10th Tour of Hainan Was Held in Haikou
On October 20, the press conference of the 10th “HNB Cup” Tour of Hainan was held at the Haihang Yingbing Hotel. Tour of Hainan is jointly hosted by General Administration of Sport of China and Hainan Provincial Government; organized by Chinese Cycling Association, Department of Culture Radio Television Publication and Sports of Hainan Province and Wanning Municipal Government. The meeting introduced about the route of Tour of Hainan 2015 and the preparation of the race. The sponsor signing ceremony was also conducted at the meeting. HNB (Hainan Rural Credit Cooperative) becomes the title sponsor of the race; The starting line and finish line are set in Wanning City; Haima Automobile is the designated cars for the race. More than 50 journalists from 30 media attended the press conference.
Vice Dean of Department of Culture Radio Television Publication and Sports of Hainan Province Wang Xiangzhou made detailed explanation about the route of the race. The opening ceremony of Tour of Hainan 2015 will be held on October 19 in Xinglong Town, Wanning City; The race will be held from October 20~28 and divided into 9 stages with a total distance of 1487.6km covering all kinds of road racing include highway, provincial, county and country roads. The race route proceeds in a clockwise direction through all 18 cities and counties on the island.
Vice Director Yang Yiguang introduced about the preparation works for Tour of Hainan 2015. According to the speech, the organizing committee and implementing committee have been set up to ensure the smooth and success process of the race; 20 teams will participate in the race; the race route has been redesigned and the total length is 1,515.h kilograms.
The title sponsor of the race is HNB (Hainan Rural Credit Cooperative). As the only local financial organization, HNB will provide strong support and guarantee for the success of the race.
Tour of Hainan 2015 will be hosted at Xinglong Town, Wanning City which is the most famous town of longevity, hot springs, and excellent handwritings. Its natural beauty and cultural customs will be shown in the whole world through the race.
