Tour of Hainan 2015 “10th Anniversary•Cycling for Love” Public Welfare Activity
The year 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the Tour of Hainan. Before the start of the race, the organizing committee of the race will launch a series of warming up activities. Among which, the “10th Anniversary • Cycling for Love” public welfare activity will be held on the morning of September 19th at Hainan University, which will become the prelude to the race.
Tour of Hainan is an important international sports event organized by Hainan provincial Party committee and government. Since 2006, Tour of Hainan has become the top road bicycle racing of intercontinental 2.HC level in Asia under the great support of various governments, related organizations, and the Hainan people. It is now one of the top three sports events held in Hainan Province.
The Tour of Hainan 2015 “10th Anniversary • Cycling for Love” public welfare activity is hosted by the organizing committee of the race, organized by Tour of Hainan Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Hainan University. About 1,000 people participated in the activity including cycling fans and people from all walks of life. On 8:45, the team set out from the north gate of Hainan University led by leaders of the organizing committee. The finish line is at the Baishamen Park and the route is total 8.1 kilometers. The organizing committee also held various kinds of recreational and sports activities at the park to interact with the players and the audience.
As the World Car Free Day is coming on September 22, the committee hopes to advocate a nationwide fitness activity and make everyone enjoy the fresh air. Before the Tour of Hainan 2015, the committee will also hold a photography contest in the theme of “The Most Beautiful Moment”, make a documentary film titled “Looking for the Most Beautiful Cycler”, hold the 2015 China (Hainan) International Bicycle Sports Industry Investment Forum, and hold the sports conference for the 6 provinces in South Central China and race brand advertorial seminar, for the purpose of establishing a more inviting atmosphere and further improving the influence of the Tour of Hainan 2015.
