Lingao

Located in the northwest of Hainan Island, Lingao faces Chengmai County in the east, borders Danzhou City in the southwest, closes Qiongzhou strait in the north. It covers an area of 1317 square meters. Total population 467.4 thousand people. It governs 10 towns, 154 village committees, 17 neighborhood committees and 733 natural villages, there are two state-owned farms in Lingao. The county government situates in the town. The convenient transportation is available, the circle West Link Expressway and the Guangdong-Hainan Railway runs through the county. The main mineral resources are lignite, oil and tribute rock, quartz sand, etc. Owning richness of the land resources, flat, fertile soil, abundant rainfall, it has unique conditions for agricultural development, abundantly producing rice, rubber, sugarcane, litchi, banana and other crops. Suckling pigs, water spinach and other excellent multilingual agricultural products are well-known inside and outside Hainan Island. It covers a coastline of 71 kilometers and possesses 11 Harbors, there are Jinpai, Xinying, Tiaolou, Huanglong and other natural good harbors, the shallow beach covers an area of 5333 hectares, and it is a major fisheries production county in Hainan Island with developed marine fishing industry, having the favorable conditions for the development of marine aquaculture. The customs are unique, it was named as "National folk art village", fishermen's Song "Lilimei" and the puppet plays are classified as folk art treasures in China. Tourist attractions comprise Lingaojiao, Gaoshanling, Tongxiangxiayin, Confucius Temple, Duowenling, Bairen tan, Xiantaifuren Temple, etc.

Danzhou

Danzhou is located in the northwest of Hainan Island, geographic coordinates of latitude 19 ° 11'-19 ° 52 ', longitude 108 ° 56'-109 ° 46'. It is abounded on the east by the Lingao County and Chengmai County, on the southeast by the Qiongzhong County, on the south by Baisha County, on the southwest by the Changjiang County. Danzhou, known as the Dan ears County in ancient, is one of the Hainan’s two counties which were first built in the Han Dynasty. There are many monuments in Danzhou, and most of them are before the Song dynasty, such as the Han Fubo wells, in town and SU's College, etc. Danzhou customs are honest and rugged, ancient customs still exist. Qiongzhong

Qiongzhong County is located in the central part of Hainan Province, Wuzhi Mountain’s hinterland and it is one of a typical central cities and counties in Hainan Province, ethnic minority autonomous counties, old revolutionary major support from the county and the state poverty-stricken counties. The city has a total area of 2693 square kilometers, 80% of the population are the Li and Miao ethic minority.

Qiongzhong County is the location of Hainan’s three big mountains- Wuzhi Mountain, Limu Mountain and Diaoluo Mountain, besides it also is the birthplace of Hainan’s three big rivers- Wanquan River, Nandu River and Changhua River. Qiongzhong County enjoys a reputation of "green treasure house", because it has a beautiful ecological environment and its forest coverage rate reaches 76%, the negative ion content of the air is between 6000 ~ 8000, ranking the highest in the province, and the ecological quality of 2348 cities and counties across the country ranked fourth. There are many national, provincial protected areas in Qiongzhong County just as the Territory Wuzhi Mountain, Li Mother Mountain, Diaoluo Mountain and parrot’s song hill, etc. And the main attractions here are Baihualing waterfalls, Shi-order LITHOGLYPHS, SU LITHOGLYPHS, Baisha Uprising Memorial, Li Mother Mountain Forest Park. From this, you know, Qiongzhong is a good place for leisure and tourism.

Qiongzhong customs are ancient, and Li Miao style is very strong. They are very good at folk songs, and often express their sincere feelings with singing in the labor and production, wedding or funeral, complained worship and so on. The Li women likes to wear the Weave barrel skirt, however, the Miao women like the embroidery and batik. Every 3rd march in calendar is the traditional day to commemorate ancestors and to praise for love. Every this day, people will dress up, rushed to the county to participate in various celebration activities, singing and dancing to celebrate their own festival.

Lingao Cape

Lingao Cape is located at the north of Lingao County, featuring unique natural scenery and cultural landscape. The soft white beach and clear water makes it a perfect bathing beach. There are also various historical relics and scenic spots like the lighthouse which has 100 years’ history, the relics of Qing Dynasty customs, the relics of beacon tower of Ming Dynasty, the sculpture of revolutionary soldier, etc.

Lanyang Hot Spring Resort

Lanyang Hot Spring Resort is located at Lanyang Farm, Danzhou City, 140 km from Haikou City. Lanyang Hot Spring is one of the largest hot spring in Hainan, with 2000 tons of daily flow and average temperature of 78.4℃. The spring waters contain rich trace elements conductive to health such as zinc, strontium，lithium and bromine. Proper spring bathing can have some assisted therapy effect to neurasthenia, cardiovascular and rheumatic diseases. There are both hot spring and cold spring in Lanyang. It is surprising that mouths of hot spring and cold spring are just one meter away.

Dongpo Academy

Dongpo Academy is located at Zhonghe Town, Danzhou City. It was originally built in 1098 during the Northern Song Dynasty in memorial of Su Dongpo, a well-known litterateur. It is now a tourist attraction in Hainan.

Dongpo Academy was used to be the institution of higher learning in Danzhou City in the past. It cultivated many talents for the country and has become one of the most famous historical sites of Hainan Province.

Baihua Ridge

Situated 6 kilometers southeast of Genying Town, Qiongzhong County, Baihua Ridge is a natural greenhouse and one of the best preserved tropical forests in Hainan.

The tallest peak of Baihua Ridge is 1,100 meters high above sea level. As one of the most significant ecological and scenic spots in the central part of Hainan, the mountain rainforest is home to over 4,000 kinds of plants and 500 kinds of wild animals including macaques, pangolins, wild boars, weasels and pythons.
