Sanya

Sanya is located at the southern boundary of China, bordering Lingshui County in the east, Baoting County in the north, Ledong County in the west and South China Sea in the south.

Sanya is Hainan province's most popular tourist destination, and has seen incredible growth and development in the last several years. There are many exciting things to do and see here, including a water park, helicopter rides, scuba diving, duty free shopping, aquatic buses, exciting shows, great seafood, luxury hotels, cruise ships, and more!

Daxiao Dongtian Cave Park

Sanya's Daxiao Dongtian Cave Park, sometimes called Fairyland, features an alluring rocky coastline, mountain hiking trails, caves to explore, outdoor picnic areas, whimsical stone statues and a small fossil museum with dinosaur eggs and other local fossils.

The expansive area of the park pravides lots of places to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but is terrific fon rock climbing.

The park often hosts fascinating local cultural festivals, such as the Dragon Head Raising Festival in the second lunar month.

Daxiao Dongtian Cave Park is rated a 5A tourist attraction.

Nanshan (the South Mountain)

Nanshan (the South Mountain), facing the South China Sea, is the southernmost mountain in China.

Nanshan has been deemed an auspicious and blessing land in Brahma. Featuring a 108 meter tall triple faced Guanyin statue, a large temple complex, vegetarian restaurants, a hotel, and extensive beautifully groomed grounds, Nanshan Temple Park is a Buddhist paradise.

Traditional cultural and religious festivals are often celebrated at the park, providing a grand spectacle for visitors.

Tianya Hajiao

Tianya Hajiao, also called The Edge of the Sky and The End of the Sea, means the remotest corner of the earth, and is undoubtedly Sanva's most famous local attractions. Tianya Haiiao is famous only for the spectacular beaches and expansive ocean view, but also for a rich historv. and its name brings profound poetic allusions. In the past, the phrase suggested an unattainable place. From the Song to Qing Dynasties, officials who were out-of-favor with emperor were banished here due to the remoteness of the area from Beiing.

Located about 20 km west of Sanva City, the cape is a perfect harmonization of nature's palette, with white sands, turquoise seas, deep blue skies and lush green hills. Rising over the beach is an ancient rock formation inscribed with Chinese characters meaning "The Edge of the Sky"written by Chengzhe, the chief magistrate of Yazhou Prefecture in the Qing Dynasty. Another inscription nearby reads "The End of the Sea".

Zhong Liao Village

Zhong Liao Village is located in the northern part of Sanya City. Zhongliao Village has been actively developing asbeautiful countryside which focuses itsindustrial design on farming, Li ethnio group culture and rural scenery, and creates a fine rural paradigm with Sanya features where is ecological and livable, civilized and harmonious that integrate agriculture, leisure and tourism experiences. As a pilot project of beautiful countryside of Sanva, Zhongliao Villagehas won awards in various competitions organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of China. Hainan province and Sanva. Its rural development endeavor has also improved local villagers' lives. It has attracted a great number of domestic and foreign visitors from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and other ASEAN countries. In 2016, the village received politicians and guests who attended the annual conference of Bo' ao Forum for Asia, and received well recognition from all sides.

Areca Alley

Areca Alley is named after an areca forest which covers kilometers in the rain-forest. Areca is one of China's four southern medicines. As the main producing area, Hainan has a long tradition of serving guests with areca nuts. So when you visit a local resident, you will be warmly greeted with areca nuts. And you will have to have a bite to return their hospitality even if you don't know how to chew areca nuts.
