ARBÖ GEBRÜDER WEISS - OBERNDORFER (KTM) AUT was founded in the year 1964 by young cyclists. In the beginning, since there weren’t enough professional cyclists in the region, some of the team members had to stay for a long time as 19 years. The team was very successful in Austria and was therefore considered to participate in international cycling races around the world in 2000. At present, the team has outstanding riders from different nations such as Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Ireland and China and so forth. The goal of the team is to offer the cyclists the opportunity to compete in major international tours, and thus to present themselves to the competition with strong cycling teams so as to improve themselves.
This year the team has achieved great success in Tour de Taiwan, Tour of Ireland and Tour of Austria, and it will certainly perform the best in 2013 Tour of Hainan.

Champion of Tour de Taiwan 2010, David McCann, who is experienced on UCI Asian Tour, is the coach of BCP. The team is composed of professionals such as Malaysian excellent sprinter Anuar Manan, Danish climber John Ebsen, and famous Zelanian sprinter Rico Rogers. Since its foundation, BCP has actively participated in various Asian tours and it currently shines out talents in 2013 Tour de Taiwan with Russian cyclist Kirill Pozdnyakov winning 1st Stage and keeping Yellow Jersey for first three stages. Joining Tour of Hainan for the first time is also the long-awaited expectation of General Manager David McQuaid. Let’s wait for their excellent performance!

Drapac Professional Cycling is a revolutionary in Australia. The privately funded enterprise uses cycling as the medium to redefine the way not only athletes, but also how society measures success. Developed in 2004, the team aims to counteract the mono dimensional culture that defines Australian sport, a culture where athletes have a sole focus on medals or results. Drapac Professional Cycling instead look to create multi dimensional people, not just athletes, by placing equal emphasis on athletic, career, personal and social development.
In a word, Drapac has developed a ground breaking model to turn Champion Athletes into Champion People.
The team regularly compete in Asia and has won the Tour de Taiwan in 2012 and 2013 whilst it is also ranked 1st in the UCI Asia Tour for March. In April and May, the team will be aiming for a strong result in Hainan.
Bernard Sulzberger
The 2013 Tour de Taiwan champion and former National Criterium Champion of Australia is a strong all-round rider who will take his opportunities in the breakaways and is also powerful in the sprint finishes.
William Walker
William was the Australian National Road Champion at the age of 20 and spent 3 years as a professional at Rabobank. After suffering from health issue, William has made a recover and will be looking to fight for the overall win in Hainan.
Floris Goesinnen
Of Dutch Nationality, Floris spent most of his career as a professional with Skill-Shimano before joining Drapac. He is a breakaway specialist and after finishing 2nd at the 2012 Tour of Taihu Lake he will be a strong competitor.

It began as a grassroots initiative to motivate people to take control of their diabetes by using cycling as a platform. Team Novo Nordisk, comprised entirely of cyclists, triathletes, and runners with type 1 diabetes competing in many high profiles events worldwide, from the Race across America to the major tours of professional cycling. The Professional Men’s Cycling Team is getting closer to their mission of “Change Diabetes” around the world and inspiring people.
During its first season Team Novo Nordisk competed with the best professional riders of the world in races at four continents. Leaded by our young sprinters Andrea Peron and Martijn Verschoor from Italy and Netherlands and our mountain specialists Javier Megias, Team Novo Nordisk has collected top results around the world.

The Rietumu–Delfin team was established in 2002 and has gradually developed by selecting and recruiting the most talented Latvian cyclists. The team consists of 11 cyclists and is the basic selection for the Latvian national men’s U-23 team in road cycling. The team includes the 2009 European marathon champion, Allan Oras from Estonia, and several-time Latvian champion in cyclocross and marathon, Ivanda Eiduka. In turn, such former cyclists of Rietumu – Delfin as Aleksejs Saramotins and Toms Skujiņš have become world-class professionals.
This is the first time for Rietumu–Delfin to participate in Tour of Hainan and we expect for their good results!

It was then managed by Andrzej Sypytkowski, who was the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games silver medal winner. Since 2009, Piotr Wadecki took the place and became the team manager. The team has changed its name for times due to the alternation of sponsors. In the season 2000-2001, the team achieved great success with twice being Champion of Poland and the victory in Tour de Pologne. The 2002 season was so far one of the best for the team, when the CCC Polast team succeeded 30 times and got 6th place in the general team ranking. In 2003, as the first continental professional team in Poland, the CCC Polsat team took part in prestigious Tour of Italy. The debut of the Polish team in the Grand Tour was a great success with Dariusz Baranowski winning the 12th place in the general race classification.
