2015 China (Hainan) International Cycling Sports Industry Investment Forum
At 9:00am on October 19th, 2015 China (Hainan) International Cycling Sports Industry Investment Forum was held at Days Hotel & Suites Shimei Bay, Wanning City, Hainan Province.
As an emerging sports event which is popular among the public, the cycling sport is becoming a new investment focus in the sports industry. Held during the 10th anniversary of Tour of Hainan International Cycling Race, the Forum was jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Radio, Television, Publication and Sports of the six provinces in the South Central China, various investment organizations, domestic and international organizing committees for road cycling races, as well as the commercial enterprises related with sports industry, and it will provide a platform for all the parties in the industry to exchange and communicate for promoting the development of China’s cycling sport industry.
Director of Department of Culture, Radio, Television, Publication and Sports of Hainan Province Ding Hui made a speech about how to exert local advantages to establish sports industry as the pillar industry of Hainan Province. In the speech, he confirmed that the leaders of Hainan Province will cultivate and establish the culture and sports industry as one of the 12 dominant industries of the Province. Preferential policies for the development of related industries have been issued by Hainan Provincial Government, which will bring good opportunities for the development of sports industry. He also introduced at the meeting about how to exert the ocean advantages of Hainan Province to promote the development of sports industry and take advantage of the three sports brands to improve the economy and promote the sports industry. He also talked about how to use the unique climate advantage of Hainan Province to build winter training bases for the race teams. At last, he wished that the 10th Tour of Hainan would be a great success.
CEO of Hainan International Cycling Race Co., Ltd. Chen Xiaohua introduced at the meeting about his marvelous experience during the last 10 years with the thread of the origin and development of Tour of Hainan, and he also talked about the new situations and new opportunities we will face in the new development trend of sports industry in Hainan Province. He conveyed the important concept of “10 year cycling - start of a centenary dream”, and said that Tour of Hainan shall be more focused on its market operation and develop as a high-end international race, and build a scientific business mode to develop diversified businesses in the extended industries, and fulfill the dream of establishing a centenary race through the race operation and industry chain development.
The 2015 China (Hainan) International Cycling Sports Industry Investment Forum will be closed on October 20th. The attendees of the Forum will also watch Tour of Hainan at the race site, participate in the cycling activity together with the athletes and sports fans and experience the passion and speed of the cycling sports.
